Alexander George Justicz, MD
Alexander George Justicz earned a Bachelor of Science from Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., where he lettered in rowing. Dr. Justicz completed his internship, residency and fellowships at Emory University-affiliated hospitals. After completing his fellowships, Dr. Justicz worked at Piedmont Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta, as well as Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga. He returns to the Atlanta area after two years of work as the lead cardiac surgeon at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Dr. Justicz is an employee of the newly formed practice Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons–Gwinnett Medical Group. With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Justicz has become a nationally renowned board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. He specializes in open heart surgery and valve repair, and he is a highly demanded speaker at major medical conferences. His surgical expertise has brought a second chance at life for thousands of patients. He looks forward to continuing this mission at the Strickland Heart Center.
